Cinnamon StarCookies with Chocolate.

I baked cookies today !
Unfortunatly I have no idea whether they taste good or not - I can't eat them as they aren't gluten-free.
But the smell was delicious :-)

Chocolate stars with cinnamon

- 180g butter, at room temperature
- 90g fine white sugar
- 230g regular white flour
- salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 40g rice flour or cornstarch
- 50g dark chocolate for decoration.

Mix the butter until creamy, then slowly add the sugar. Keep on stirring. Then sift through the flour, salt, cinnamon and cornstarch. Mix well. Knead the dough short and form a ball. The dough has to be somewhat elastic. Put it in the fridge till it is quite firm.

Roll out the dough (it should be aprox. 5mm) and cut out star-shaped pieces. Repeat till you have used up all the dough. Put them on baking plates and put away somewhere cool for about 15 minutes. Preheat the oven at 180°C. Bake the cookies in 12 minutes till they are firm and start to color. Leave them on the baking plate for a couple of minutes, then put on a rack to cool.

When they have cooled completely, melt the chocolate. Dip the points of the stars in the chocolate, put them on baking paper and let cool.
