Ingredients:
• 350 g plain white flour (12 oz.)
• 100 g whole wheat flour (3,5 oz.)
• 1 teasp. salt
• 1 teasp. baking soda
• 350 ml buttermilk
Pre-Heat your oven at 230°C (446° F).
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Combine till well blended. The dough has to be smooth and soft, but not too sticky.
Form the dough into a ball, a round bread. Put it on a baking plate (greased, or with baking paper).
Bake it for 15 minutes, turn the oven back at 200°C (400° F) and bake for another 20 - 30 minutes. The bread has to sound "hollow" when you tap on the bottom.
- You can form little bread of this dough as well, and bake them for aprox. 20 minutes.
