Wentelteefjes

also known as « Pain Perdu » or « French Toast »
This is very simple to make ánd delicious to eat.

• 2 Eggs
• 20 cl Milk
• 50 g Brown Sugar (1,7 ounces)
• Cinnamon, if you like that
• 8 Slices of (Old) Bread
• Butter

Beat the eggs with the milk and the sugar (and the optional cinnamon). Soak both sides of the slices of bread in the mixture. Bake them in a hot pan on both sides, until they are goldenbrown. Serve with some powdered sugar or extra cinnamon.

You can also serve it with some vanilla ice-cream !
